Great weekend with the mister and my in-laws visting Victoria, Canada! We ended our fun filled trip with some drinks at The Empress Hotel. Fancy shmancy!

Today started out productive but once I found out class was cancelled, I traded in my books and report writing for running errands and surfing the net. Ugh. I swear I get more things done when I work.

I accidentally fell asleep last night before I could post my picture of the day! I am getting old! Well yesterday I had the pleasure of subbing for middle school PE. Since it was kinda drizzling, we stayed inside and watched a movie. Which was nice, except for the fact that I watched the first 40 minutes of The Blind Side FOUR times in a row. The joys of being a substitute teacher.

My favorite parts of today include the arugula pizza from The Vine Cottage (so delish) and going to see American Reunion (which is hilarious, by the way) with the mister and my brother.

Tonight Brandon and I went to the legal races at the stadium. Brandon is now in a car club (haha) and hangs out with other Mustang lovers. So tonight we headed down to Qualcomm to race with his car club. It brought back one of my favorite memories; racing with the Lindz in her dad's Porsche when we were 19 at the very same spot we were tonight! It was fun watching the cars race but I was scared every time Brandon was up. Luckily he didn't run into anything! Since he did such a stellar job driving in a straight line tonight, I think next time I will race with him instead of just watching him.

Brandon is a really good gift giver. I am serious. He always puts thought into his gifts. This awesome pen you see was a stocking stuffer purchased by Brandon. I said once to him that I needed new pens and for Christmas, look what I got! Today when I was subbing at a middle school, a 7th grade girl saw my pen and asked me where I got it. She has been looking for a fuzzy pen everywhere! :)
I love my awesome, ridiculous pen that my awesome, ridiculous husband got me.

I had an awesome birthday. I did whatever I wanted and it was perfect. And my husband took me out for the most fanciest dinner. Starting off year 28 full and happy. Major changes are coming this year, but I am ready!

Cucina Urbana with my sister and husband before taking Jamie to the airport tonight. It was such a busy weekend but it was so nice to spend time with the whole family. I am ready to catch up on some sleep though...thank goodness I have one more week of Spring Break!

Biked Lake Murray today with Hannah and Miss Alonna. I definitely like biking more than walking...you get to the end so much faster! Even though my butt is really sore (from the seat, Lindsey) it was still a lot of fun.
PS. Don't hate on the bike helmet. Safety first!
