February Photo Challenge Day 5: 10am
At 10am today I was taking a hot shower. My tonsils, throat and I have not been getting a long the last few days. If fact, my throat and tonsils hate me. My tonsils grew to the size of golfballs, are almost touching, are super red and swollen and have even grown some white things on them! The pain is unbearable. I can't eat, drink or even just swallow without experiencing the most excruciating pain. And I have sleeping terribly...I wake up every few hours crying with pain (no joke). I have tried everything to make this pain go away. I have been to urgent care twice, where they pretty much have just given me pain killers (which didn't work) and told me it wasn't strep throat. I have gargled salt water, put an ice pack on my throat, put myself on an ibuprofen regimen, had Brandon spray Chloraseptic spray down my throat (and all over my face), drank tons of water, and took lots of hot, steamy showers. And guess what? Nothing has worked! My throat still hurts and it hurts bad. I asked Brandon to "put me down" but he said no. I have been such a little brat to him and he still wants me to live! I am going to see my real doctor tomorrow and hopefully she will be able to do something to stop this insane pain. I just hope I can make it through the night.
